Data processing

Data controller and data processors

The data controller is Kara Technologies, company reg. no. (CVR) 45298523. We use recognised data processors on our behalf under a data processing agreement, and they may make use of their own sub-processors to operate the service. The current list of data processors is provided on request.

Purpose

Data is processed in order to provide account, login, home feed, search, listings, chat, notifications, viewings, reporting and security.

Processing activities

Account and login, including optional login with Google or Apple, and abuse protection (Google reCAPTCHA) when signing in with an SMS code on the website.

Storage of your profile, listing, search, booking, conversation and app data.

Storage of images, logos, listing photos and attachments in chat.

Server functions for, among other things, building data.

Running the website mursten.app (Firebase Hosting), maps (Apple MapKit JS) and address lookup when creating a listing (DAWA).

Delivery of notifications.

Abuse and fraud protection.

Transfer to third countries

Some of our data processors may process and store information on servers in the USA. The transfer takes place on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The basis for transfer can be provided on request.

Security

Access to data is controlled with login, access control and abuse protection, and information is encrypted in transit. Sensitive information on your device is stored in secure, encrypted storage.

Rights

You can request access, correction or erasure via support@mursten.app. The account can be deleted directly in the app or on mursten.app under My profile.

You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk, if you believe the processing is in breach of the law.
